hp backlinks review

Posted: November 6, 2012 in Uncategorized

There is just no damn way to review this service as they do not report the links built!

The link building company HP Backlinks builds your links… but then refuses to report the links built. The biggest problem here is that this is link rental which means you are paying every month for a link and you have nothing but their word as to if it is any good! I am not saying that the links are worth it or not – I am saying that this st up means that it is immpossible to buy in bulk from them and know if you are getting good bang for your buck. If you are ordering just a few links you can use a backlink checker to find the links and then work out which ones are theirs and evaluate it…..
…but as soon as you are buying in bulk this is immposible to do!

I have canceled the links that I was “renting” from them and think that they are going to be difficult to use as in the medium term it is immposible for you to cancel the crap links that are doing you nothing/damage and keep the ones that are good because you are not “told” which ones are which.

Hi I bought one test link from you for the website rampantman.com

According to reporting the link is live – however I can not see where the link appears?! Please can you tell me the link or show me how I can check myself to see where the link appears?

To protect advertiser and publisher sites, we do not give out urls of links purchased. Links will typically show up in third party link indexes within a few weeks.

See our knowledge base article for additional info – http://www.hpbacklinks.com/support/knowledgebase.php?article=10

This is ridiculous?! Buying the link blind – I can accept to a degree as it ensures that you only show the URL’s of the sites to serious customers. But then not reporting the link and expecting me to have to spend more time trying guess what exactly I have paid for? How do I even know that you have done ANTYHING at all? What’s stopping you from just sitting there having done nothing and thus renting to be nothing?

Either send the URL of the link that I have bought (which is what I have paid for), or issue me a full refund.

I am sorry that you missed this fact in the FAQ or Advertiser guide prior to making a purchase but this is a basic feature of our site and one that thousands of users have no problem with. The proof is in the results so I would encourage you to give it a chance.

To address your other points:
We have been in business for years, first as BuildMyRank, and have a reputation to maintain so it is not at all in our interest to be deceptive. We also have thousands of publisher being paid for these links so if there was something shady, it would be all over the Internet by now.

We do not keep it a secret that we do not give out urls, in fact it is a major selling point and is advertised on our site and on several marketing forums where we advertise.

Unfortunately, we do not issue refunds. You may cancel at anytime prior to the end of the billing cycle (Nov. 30) and you will not be charged

Let me know if you have any additional questions.

I am aware of your previous incarnation as BuildmyRank – which was a good service where you could see what you were getting for your money.

On your homepage you sell yourselves on three main points:

Network Diversity

This is not transparent – I have no idea if you have built a link. If you have I have no idea what that is and if it is as you say it is. I have only your word on this.

Before buying I had a look at the “how it works” page – thought it seemed reasonable – then I purchased.

You say you care about your reputation. Please just show me the link that I have paid for thus confirming for me you have done that which I have given you money for, OR issue me a refund.

Sorry you feel that way but we will not be giving you urls or issuing a refund.

Best Regards,

Thanks for the review. I was looking for BuildMyRank as someone told me about it but then came across this instead. I’m still fifty fifty but at the moment doesn’t look like I’ll be able to purchase blindly. Internet is full of too many scammers. I will see what other people are saying.

  2. Matt says:

I realize this is an old post, but I can’t say I disagree with the customer rep. The website does clearly say they will not give out the URL nor a refund. Seems like this was just a baited test to somehow bash hpbacklinks on these points.

wait a few weeks and you can easily find the link, if it exists or not.

by the way I’m not affiliated with them in anyway, I actually got here by searching for reviews on their service.

  3. Fion says:

I used these guys and always got a great boost in rankings. Also, you can use majestic New Links tab to see all new links your site has received. With this I’ve never had any trouble spotting the ones bought from HP backlinks.
I’m glad that most people aren’t able to see the links that they get because, from my experience, there’s always some muppet that thinks it’s a great idea to blitz the linking blogs with automated spam because he thinks it will improve his rankings. Then as a result, that affects you, because you’ve bought links from the same domain.
However, I will say that HP Backlinks go the extra mile because they check to ensure all the sites in their database are all indexed in Google. As soon as one gets deindexed (probably because spammers find the links in Majestic) then at least you notified and you get a credit added to your account.
That’s how you can be sure that you get quality from them. I Highly recommend!

  4. Sorry man but you totally look like the bad guy here, they couldn’t be more clear on how their service works.
